This publication presents statements of representatives of landlocked and transit developing countries and works from international and regional organizations. The Meeting, as Part of the Preparatory Process for the Midterm Review of the Almaty Programme of Action (Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, 18-20 June 2007), gives an assessment of current situation and progress made, drew attention to priority areas for cooperation among countries involved, jointly with international support, to develop efficient transit transport infrastructure.
