REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years of scripting experience using UI testing tools such as Quick Test Professional.
Experience using HP Quality Center or similar test management system.
Experience tracking defects and driving them to resolution.
Experience coding in VB, .Net, VBA and VB Script.
Experience with SQL and relational database theory.
Review functional test scripts and translate to appropriate test automation strategy.
Participate in the planning, development, execution, and maintenance of automated test suites to assure the quality of the CNO applications.
Assure that automation processes and standards are adhered to at all stages of the project life cycle.
Conduct status review meetings and provide feedback to management on project status.
Participate in peer and code review meetings to provide feedback and improvement recommendations to teammates.
Ability to handle unresolved situations, schedule changes, delays, or unexpected events.
Previous experience working on applications in insurance industry.
Previous experience testing software applications including writing test scripts, executing tests and logging defects
Qualification: Only B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech (should have 60% above across the career)
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, deployment and maintenance of all automated test scripts. This person should have previous experience working in a test automation role and have experience creating automated test cases from functional tests. The candidate should also have experience developing test automation project schedules and communicating project status to management.
