Role
Designation Pre-sales Application Engineer Trainees (PTC MCAD)
Job Description
The Pre-sales Application Engineer Trainees is a technical role in Softcell and involves field visits and customer
interaction from time to time. The Pre-sales Application Engineer Trainees will be part of the PTC SBU of Softcell and will
provide be enabled and trained to provide technical consulting and support to the customers for a select range of PTC
products and solutions. Softcell is the only "Platinum Partner" of PTC in India.
The Trainees should have good academic background and awareness of Mechanical Engineering and design concepts. Knowledge of
CAD and PTC software like Pro/Engineer will be an added advantage.
Desired Profile
Work closely with the customer to understand their design pain points and technically demonstrate the appropriate
product from PTC.
Supports sales team in customer meetings whenever required to convince customers about the technical capability of PTC
products.
Prepare and delivers standard PTC product demonstrations (after getting fully enabled, trained and certified on PTC
products)
Experience:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Production)
Professional Experience Years: 0-1 years in tehcnial support or pre-sales activities of PTC PDS/MCAD products.
Should be open to traveling to outside locations for customer calls.
Should be open to going out on daily customer visits (this is a customer facing role).
