Executive/ Associate Manager- Mechanical Need in GMR

GMR is an infrastructure Development Company founded in 1978 and headquartered in Bangalore . The Group is well diversified and professionally managed with ownership interests in Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing.

The incumbent shall have sufficient knowledge in preparation of pre-feasibility report and detailed project report for thermal power projects. Exposure to selection of power generation technology, plant design and engineering, preparation of project specification and optimization and project capital cost are essential requirements for this position. Knowledge on Mechanical statutory requirements. Knowledge on basic design criteria for C & I systems for ensuring reliability & safety. Sizing criteria for various Mechanical equipments such as switch gears, motors, transformers. Layout of electrical system in a coal based thermal power station. Knowledge of Mechanical equipment testing standards and knowledge of insulation coordinating and equipment protection. Experience in EPC contract negotiations and finalization is essential. Should have exposure in developing very competitive bid proposals for thermal power projects. This position will report to GM – Power Business Development
