Designation:FW Development Engg Senior
Job Description
As a key contributor in the MegaRAID development team, he will contribute to design and development of RAID Software for firmware and applications. He will interact with SW/HW engineering teams to understand requirements for his components; define and develop features for our first-in-class RAID HBA solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work in the team as a strong hands-on contributor.
. Demonstrate Strong technical Leadership thru in depth understanding of product architecture.
. Responsible for multiple Software Components of RAID HBA Solutions.
. Conceive and Develop new features in the Product, and be responsible for delivery of his components in a timely fashion.
. Support existing products to customers by timely & high quality resolution of Defects.
- Interface with customers and internal teams as and when required for his Software components.
- Evaluate new feature requests - participate in feasibility study and effort estimate for his components.

BSCS or equivalent with 4years or MSCS with 3+ years embedded software development experience in storage.
- Be an energetic, creative, positive, and results-oriented individual.
- Flexible, and adaptable to rapid change.
- Must have knowledge and development experience in storage technologies in RAID and "SAS or SCSI or SATA".
- Experience with embedded software development.
- Experience with gathering and defining technical requirements is preferable
. Prior experience in Server OS environment with focus towards File Systems, Storage Drivers, BIOS, Firmware is preferable
- Must possess good oral/written/listening skills in order to work harmoniously with internal/external customers.
- Able to analyze complex problems independently and multitask.
Desired Profile
BSCS or equivalent with 2+years or MSCS with 1+ years embedded software development experience in storage.
- Be an energetic, creative, positive, and results-oriented individual.
- Flexible, and adaptable to rapid change.
- Knowledge and development experience in storage technologies in RAID and "SAS or SCSI or SATA" is preferable.
