Designation Verification Design Engineer
Job Description
Read channel (RC) is a very complex mix-signal IP in hard disk controller. As terabytes of data stored in pocket sized hard disk, extracting error-free user data from magnetic media becomes a technology challenge and that makes design/verification of read channel more challenging. Read channel includes analog/digital signal processing algorithms, Viterbi / LDPC like complex encoder/decoder and very complex servo system to navigate data sector locations accurately.
RC verification team in Bangalore is responsible for functional verification of this complex mixed-signal IP starting from super-block level to system level. Verification test bench is being built based on OVM architecture using System Verilog. Testbench includes very complex magnetic disk model and also supports power-aware verification.
We are looking for self-motivated engineers, who are willing to learn about complex features of this mixed-signal IP and dare to find bugs in our design, keeping no limit of imagination.
