Job Description
The Analysis section of EDC -India is seeking a research engineer to support the development and enhancement of an internally developed general-purpose multi-body dynamics code.
Job responsibilities include development of force modules to interact with the core dynamics solver, integration of the multi-body dynamics code with other proprietary system simulation software and earth interaction software, software testing, verification, and validation, and releasing and user support.
This position may also involve demonstration of the software through machine performance application projects to evaluate new machine designs for product development programs.
Desired Profile
· MS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics
· 2 years experience in multi-body dynamics or academic specialization in multi-body dynamics/ computational mechanics/ non linear FEA. Extremely capable graduates without work experience will also be considered.
· Experience in engineering analysis, such as multi-body dynamics, computational mechanics, machine/system performance simulation, and nonlinear FEA.
· Expertise in developing analytical models for numerical analysis.
· Strong software programming skills for engineering analysis (C++, C, and Fortran).
· Strong initiative, communication skills, customer focus, teamwork, and planning skills
