Designation:Network Engineer - 3 Opening(s)

Job Description     

    * Provide core competencies in complex enterprise wide area networking, multi-protocol network transport techniques, LAN switches and Layer 4-7 content switching
    * Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a multi-tiered environment
    * 24x7 management & Monitoring of network infrastructure.
    * Monitor LAN/WAN performance, ensure capacity planning is performed, and proactively assess issues and make recommendations for improvement.
    * To enforce standardised procedures including:

   1. system security management
   2. change management
   3. problem management
   4. service desk call logging

Desired Profile     

    * Routing and routed protocols: RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc
    * Switching : VLAN, STP
    * Ethernet standards (cabling to configuration)
    * Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing principles
    * Routers: Cisco 7600 series
    * Switches: Cisco Catalyst 6500 series, Catalyst 3560 series
    * Firewalls: Cisco PIX , Juniper Netscreen,
    * Checkpoint.
    * Network Address Translation (NAT), Access-lists and rule based policies
    * CCNA/CCNP
