Job role involves creating performance models in C/C++ for various CPUs, cache hierarchies, bus interconnects, DDR,
Multimedia etc and benchmarking, competitive analysis and workload analysis/characterization on production hardware, and
software tools development for performance analysis for Mobile handset applications. Engage/interface with Architecture
teams, verification, validation and characterization teams to run content on simulation and real hardware for data
collection, triage and debug. Focus areas are ARM CPU subsystems, cache hierarchy and coherency for Multi-cores, multimedia,
memory controller and interconnect design for mobile applications.

Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years of hands on experience required
good background in computer architecture, ARM CPUs, caches, coherency protocol.
Knowledge about multimedia (JPEG encoders/Decoders, Video, graphics) is a great plus
exposure to performance simulators (event & cycle driven modeling) and performance correlation and benchmark/workload
analysis and characterization is a plus.
competence in programming (C/C++) and scripting
excellent communication skills (Oral & Written).
Understanding of microprocessor architecture, performance instrumentation, workload tracing is a plus.
