Job Description
Understands related technical design challanges.
Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to customers through product demonstrations, state of the art
feature realizations, and tape-out engagements below 32/28nm technologies.
May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/systems. May
Design experience should include ASIC design with experience using place and route tools.
Deep understanding of design methodologies is required, with emphasis placed on the backend physical design process.
Knowledge of the front-end design process or experience with timing signoff, extraction, and LVS/DRC are a plus.
Has a working knowledge of one or more programming languages such as tcl.
Leads and manages complex tasks to achieve timely completion consistent with program schedule and cost constraints.
Synopsys tool experience is desired, but not required.

Provides regular updates to manager on project status. Represents the organization on business unit and/or company-wide
projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel
in own area of expertise.
