About APM India:
APM has commenced its India Design Center in Dec 2008 with a view to tap the ample talent in the VLSI domain and for embedded software development and QA. Based in Kalyaninagar, Pune, the state of the art facility would house multiple teams for SOC RTL design and verification, high speed board design, validation, embedded software development and QA of the same. In near future, it would be the largest development center outside of USA.
The high caliber team is expected to work on the various products of APM based on very top end architectures using PowerPC cores. Its leadership in 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other Storage technologies makes it a very exciting place to be.

Desired Candidate Profile
Position: Processor Verification Engineer
Location: Pune
The Processor
Verification Engineer is responsible for the verification of architecture and
micro-architecture of the next generation multi-core coherent processor complex.
The verification activity will span across pre-silicon, emulation and
post-silicon debug.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS / MS with 2+ years
experience
- Experience in developing test bench environments for unit and
system level verification
- Experience in verification using random stimulus
along with functional coverage and assertion-based verification
methodologies
- Hands on experience with verification environment
design/modeling using HVL languages like System Verilog/SystemC/vera and
methodolgies like OVM, VMM.
- Exposure to design and verification tools
(Questa or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy)
- Good
debugging and problem solving skills. Scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Good
communication skills and desire to work as a team player are a must
Special
Skills or Knowledge Required:
.- Real project verification experience on any
of the processor microacrhitecture (ARM, PowerPC, x86)
AND/OR
- Knowledge
and ability to develop/debug Assembly tests (ARM or any other processor like
x86,PPC etc
AND/OR
- Cache coherency and multi core verification
experience
AND/OR
- Expertise in working on ARM debug
architecture
AND/OR
Expertise in Power aware or low power verification.
