Job Description
Quality Assurance/ Testing Engineer is fully responsible for testing the integration of our enterprise services to HyperWorks products. He or she will work within a product team, providing feedback on functionality, usability, and performance during the release cycle. His/her tasks include identifying and documenting test cases, manually executing as well as automating the test cases, reporting test results and bugs.
Duties and Responsibilities: List major responsibilities regularly performed by this position
• Responsible for the quality of HWE integration to HyperWork desktop products
• Identify, document, test and automate all customer use cases
• Test and certify product builds to be deployed for customer release.
• Corroborate with development, program management and documentation teams to achieve high quality
• Report all quality related issues to development and project management teams.
• Lobby for enhancements that improve the quality and usability of the products
Desired Profile
• 2-3 yrs of CAE / FEA experience with working knowledge of PLM and product development environment.
• Exposure to CAD and PLM software.
• Experience using any Altair HyperWorks products
• Exposure to testing methods and practices with a desire to test
• Experience in scripting and automation is advantageous.
• Good communication and time management skills
