Designation Senior Operation Engineer for Internet Product Development Group
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced operation engineer to be in charge of daily operation of the 3D community web site
(www.3dcontentcentral.com).
Working with integration and IT, the engineer will ensure the 24x7 site runs without glitch.
This position requires a highly motivated and process oriented individual with superior attention to details.
The ability to perform impact assessment and propose resolution of schedule/resource conflict is essential.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Coordinating activities with development, QA, integration, IT is essential.
The engineer needs to work closely with resources in US and other countries.
Experience of release management in web farms environment is highly desirable.
Desired Profile
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
6+ years of commercial software product development experience with 3+ years of project management experience.
A successful candidate will possess solid experience in managing 24x7 web applications.
EDUCATION: BS or MS, in Computer Science, Information Systems or related Engineering discipline.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven ability to successfully manage day to day operation of sophisticated web site or web application.
Proven ability to successfully lead the development of an Internet product.
Proven ability to manage outsourcing teams.
Highly motivated, result oriented manager.
Ability to work well with and earn respect of development, QA, integration, IT, technical services, marketing and
localization teams.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Energetic and fun to work with.
