Designation:Technical Marketing Engineer
Job Description
* Development of demonstration designs using Xilinx processing platform products for sales use and web/video delivery
* Development of technical sales training material such as labs and tutorials
* Development of product and technical marketing collateral
* Assist in development of detailed hardware, software, IP, reference design and benchmark requirements and specifications
* Competitive comparisons of hardware and software development tools and design flows and embedded ASSP devices
* Development and reviews of customer documentation
* Development of material for white papers and applications notes
Desired Profile
B.E. in Electrical/Electronics Engg (EEE, ECE) or Computer Science (CSE) with 2-4 years of industry experience in technical marketing, applications engineering and/or development in Embedded Systems with experience in embedded software development, firmware development, ARM v6 and v7 architecture or FPGA design. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent time and project management skills, have solid decision-making and creative problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. Candidate is required to have strong communication skills in English – both spoken & written. The person must be a team player with good inter-personal skills to effectively participate in cross-functional, global corporate environments.
Skills Required:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* For an embedded software focused TME
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and using Software IDEs, Compilers, Debuggers
Proficiency in Embedded OS/RTOSes like Linux, VxWorks
Experience with ARM v6/v7 architecture (ARM 1176 or ARM Cortex-A class processors) is a plus
Experience with DSP software is a plus
Experience with FPGA-based processor cores is a plus
Experience with firmware or driver development is a plus
For an embedded hardware focused TME
Experience with FPGA hardware development with VHDL/Verilog
Experience with DSP hardware development is a plus
Experience with FPGA-based processor cores is a plus
