Designation BI Developer
Job Description
The project involves development of a new data warehouse product in healthcare domain for HSGBU. The work is extremely
complex and highly challenging.
More than 50% of time is spent on research and prototyping to demonstarte solutions for difficult problems. The candidate
must be risk taking in attitude, extra enthusiastic to learn new technology and attempting innovative solutions.
He or she must be willing to put extra hours, as the work is quite challenging and not easy to implement. He or she must have
ability to think at an abstract level to understand the underlying concepts.
He or she must be able to work independnetly and should not depend on others to get things done.
Qualification:
Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in design and development of Data Warehousing applications and products.
Must have expertise in ETL development either using any one of the ETL tools - Informatica or ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
Must have sound knowledge on data warehouse concepts and prinnciples.
Must have successfully completed atleast 2 to 3 projects in data warehouse domain.
Must have excellent academic record.
Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues.
Must have through knolwedge in PL/SQL and SQL Tuning.
Preferabley working in a product company or working on a role spending good amount of time on design of solutions.
Preferably having exposure and knowledge in JAVA.
Preferably from Computer Science or IT background.
Preferably from a reputed college like NIT or govt. engineering college.
