Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose The engineer will execute and lead analytical simulation efforts for the aero-engine external systems to
guide the evolution of new designs as well as to resolve field / manufacturing / supplier issues.

Essential Responsibilities The broad responsibilities are as follows:

 Execute and lead Static / Dynamic / Thermal analysis projects for the Aero-Engine External Hardware

 Provide inputs through analytical simulations for improving design and for addressing manufacturing / supplier / field
issues

 Ensure on-time and error-free execution of projects

 Effectively communicate and collaborate with design groups at global sites and execute program plans

 Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise at a system/domain/program level

 Mentor team members on project execution and technical competencies

 Actively contribute to the process improvements and drive technical excellence by developing best practices.

Essential Responsibilities

To become part of Aircraft Engine Product Engineering Center team by executing structural stress analysis programs with
strict adherence to quality and timeline commitments. The broad responsibilities are as follows:

Lead and Execute static/rotating parts certification, life extension and design analysis programs across engine lines.

Provide engineering analysis support for improving design and for manufacturing / supplier / field issues

Ensure on-time delivery with FTY=1 adhering to Toll gate review process

Effectively communicate and Collaborate with different groups at global sites and execute program plans

Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise at a system/domain/program level

Mentor team members on project execution

Participate in stress analysis process improvements and work towards ownership of stress analysis best practices

 Life Methodologies

Desired Characteristics -

Experience in the application of ANSYS and Unigraphics

Exposure to FAA regulations and aerospace industry

Exposure to Design For Six Sigma tools and techniques

Exposure to manufacturing and testing processes of metallic and composite aircraft parts

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications/Requirements -

PhD / MTech / MS / B.E. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering/Civil Structural Engineering

Relevant experience on Finite Element Analysis in relevant domain

In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments
