Designation Production Support Engineer
Job Description
Monitor, control and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure under Worldwide DC which includes:-
Working in 24*7 environment (shifts)
Hands-on experience on any UNIX flavor/IBM TWS
Installation, upgrading software and patches
Server performance monitoring
Monitoring of Batches running on Unix
Machines through IBM TWS
Providing L1 support for various services like Mail/Gateways/Network/Windows
Excellent communication skills, capable of multitasking and able to work in sync with teams as well as individually
Desired Profile
Technical Skills:
Mandatory:
System admin (Unix), Basic knowledge of Windows Administration.
Basic knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle), network, shell scripting, backup-storage solution and clustering package (VCS/MCS)
Desired:
HP Openview, IBM TWS, Printer Management, Hermes
Optional Skills: Exposure to foreign languages: French/Italian, ITIL Process awareness
Certifications: CCNA/Solaris/Hp-UX/AIX/Linux
Experience 1 - 2 Years
