Role Summary/Purpose We are looking for highly motivated self-driven researcher to lead and conduct research in the areas of
medical image analysis including CT, MRI, PET and multi-modalities to address varied clinical problems.
Essential Responsibilities This role requires scientist with proven expertise in medical image analysis through top-notch
publications and experience of working in applied research labs in the areas of medical imaging and image analysis addressing
different clinical problems. In particular the individual is expected to drive, shape and conduct research in CT and/or MRI
image analysis including segmentation, registration and characterization, coupled with strong imaging and clinical
understanding. The person is expected to possess strong implementation and programming skills. He/She should be able to lead
global multi-disciplinary teams and work closely with GE businesses to drive concepts to products.

Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Applied Math with 10 plus years of experience and having an outstanding track record for independent applied research and demonstrated ability to learn and
apply recent advances in medical imaging and image analysis to solve clinical and imaging problems. He/She must be eager to
work in a global team of experienced and dynamic researches to develop the next generation of imaging. Should be a team
player with good communication skills.
Desired Characteristics Candidates should have a strong physics orientation, demonstrably good C/C++ skills, and familiarity
of open source tool kits such as Open CV or ITK.
