Job Description
Responsibilities include the following
Delivery of complex applications with high reliability/scalability and near zero defect
software
Solution design with Day CQ5 WCMS product
Responsible for component design, implementation, integration and customization with Day
WCMS platform
Create and maintain effective modular software designs following the design and coding
standards
Work closely with cross‐functional teams including architects and business solution analysts
in a fast‐paced productive environment
Desired Profile
Required Skills for the job
Substantive experience building innovative, complex, software. Strong technical credentials,
with experience in hands‐on architectural or distributed systems experience
Bachelor's or a Master's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent required
6 - 14 years of industry experience preferably in application programming area
Hands on experience in any of content management solutions like Interwoven, Vignette,
OpenText, JCR‐complaint application servers
Good experience is required on Java, J2EE, REST, JSP and JavaScript web technologies
Good experience is required in developing, deploying and debugging J2EE enterprise
applications that leverage web services and messaging
Sun certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) is preferred
Experience with OSGi and Apache Sling is preferred
Experience with Object Oriented technologies: OOA/OOD, Design Patterns and UML is
preferred
J2EE application server administration (JBOSS, WebLogic and WebSphere) is preferred
Conversant with development process using different SDLC methodologies
Good communication, team work and presentation skills is essential
