Role
The Altair Licensing QA Engineer is fully responsible for the testing and evaluation of the unique licensing module as a standalone capability, licensing implementation within Altair products and licensing implementation in partner products. He or she will work within a product team, providing feedback on functionality, usability, and performance during the release cycle.
• Create overall QA plans and test case documents
• Review and finalize plans in conjunction with product teams
• Unit testing of licensing module
• Functional testing of all Altair and Partner products for licensing & security related use-cases
• Develop and implement overall plans for automation for licensing testing
• Create, maintain and report execution of test cases
• Work with partner product teams for licensing issues and queries
• Resolve queries from customers, support teams and partner product representative
• Report and Validate defect relating to licensing
• Review all documentation for licensing for all products
