Designation     Senior Software Engineer

Job Description     

Technical Area Specialist - Architects and creates specifications for major software subsystems, or overall system, as
required and as outlined in Pace Product Development Process

Produce well structured, documented and maintainable code

Assist in definition and promotion of Pace defined quality standards for software engineering

 Provide maintenance support for existing software to ensure prompt rectification of problems

Participate in, and contribute to, formal Design and Project Reviews

Configuration management in relation to software releases.

Design of build environment managing source trees, etc.

Desired Profile     

 Experienced in real time embedded software development, preferably Set Top Box domain/Consumer Electronics domain

 Expert in C

 Good Knowledge in Device driver development/integration

 RTOS: Linux / vxWorks / OS20 / uCos / Nucleus

 DVB standards

 Working knowledge in Middleware

Qualification: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering (ECE/EEE/CSE/IT)

Experience     3 - 5 Years
