Designation Sr.Software Engineer
Job Description
Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware
engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers,
electronic data processing systems software . Determines computer user needs'' advises hardware designers on machine
characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements''
designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests
or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process
Desired Profile
You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Master of Science degree Computer Engineering or Electrical
Engineering with more than five years of experience in system software design and/or development on Windows. Additional
qualifications include:
Proficient in C and OS system level programming
Proficient in low level Driver development ( KMDF )
Working experience and background in working with low level hardware preferably in tablet pc and embedded platforms.
Background in platform energy management will be an added plus
Keen passion and/or interest in system software development on windows
Assertive and knowledgeable about product development life cycle
Good problem solving skills
Good team player
A quick learner, self-motivated to work independently on designing new software
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience with working on Low Power systems and/or Always Connected systems would be an added advantage
