Job Description
Project Description: The aims of these work packages are:
• Perform simulation techniques to achieve exact set of modeling parameters for ABAQUS/ explicit job
• Preparation of FE model for Audit components (Wing, Fuselage etc)
• Support the stress activities
• Conversion of NASTRAN to ABAQUS model
Following taks fall within the scope of this project:
Prepare complete FE model and run analysis to ensure model integrity
• FE model of metallic and composite based components
• Assembling of Aircraft Structural components ( defining Properties, Attachments, Contacts, FASTENERS etc)
Prepare complete FE model for non-linear finite element analysis ( Implicit and Explict)
• Various type of definitions for computing the nonlinearities
• Ensure correct conversion methods for NASTRAN model to ABAQUS through behavior comparison within linear static conditions.
Task to be carried out in accordance with the Airbus specs, schedule and applicable policies.
• Report wherever required.
Domain Expertise:
The supplier should have the domain expertise in the following fields:
• Mechanics of materials
• Linear and non-linear stress analysis
• Working knowledge of Abaqus (CAE/ Standard/ Explicit)
• Working knowledge of ALTAIR/HYPERMESHv10
• Understanding of MSC/NSTRAN and related libraries/cards
• Scripting languages (Python)
In addition to above, expertise in following tool is also desirable
• CATIA v5
