Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an IT Senior Associate - Network Engineer to be part of a highly motivated team in a challenging and rewarding
environment. Engineer will work as part of a global team and interface directly with clients. We expect candidates to be
creative, innovative; team oriented and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, judgment, and decision making skills required
Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to represent complex technical concepts and
issues to a geographically diverse audience are required.
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with conflicting priorities
Capable of quickly triaging and prioritizing and incidents under pressure
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
Strong project management skills (requirements gathering/finalization, project plan development, communication plan
development/execution, task mapping, resource assignment, task management, risk management, progress reporting) desired but
not required.
Role requires deep troubleshooting skills with the ability to work with other engineers (often based in other countries) and
equipment vendors to resolve complex issues.
The ability to learn independently and come up to speed on new technologies and applications without formal training or
instruction.
Desired Profile
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
CCNP, CCDP, CCIE (written and/or lab) is a large plus
Strong network routing protocol troubleshooting and configuration skills in BGP and OSPF is mandatory
Strong layer 2 troubleshooting skills and knowledge
Hands-on experience with configuring enterprise-class routing and switching equipment (Cisco 6500, Cisco 7600, Nexus
5000/2000)
Knowledge and hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting secure wireless networks required
In-depth knowledge and experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and IPsec VPNs
Excellent knowledge of major network protocols including TCP/IP, IPSec, STP, HSRP, SNMP
Knowledge and working experience with load balancers and/or application acceleration a plus
VMware ESX/ESXi and basic NetApp/EMC storage experience is a plus
Linux system administration including major applications such as Apache, BIND, sendmail also a plus
Basic Windows Server 2003/2008 system administration and installation
Business Knowledge:
Domain experience would be a plus.
