Responsibilities – Pre & Post Silicon Validation of IPs/SOC of high complexity multimillion Gate devices. Test plans, testcase Development/Coding, Debugging on Pre & Post Silicon platforms.
Desired Skill Sets includes:
• Experience in IP Module and SoC validation of Silicon functionalities
• Good experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Assembly, Perl / Shell scripting, etc.
• Experience in the area of validation of IP modules such as
o Low Speed Serial Protocols/Peripherals – UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, PCM
o High Speed – USB, Ethernet, Interconnects/Buses etc.
o Memory Controllers – High Speed SDRAM, Flash memories, SD/MMC
o Multimedia – Graphics controller, MIPI, Camera, LCD
o Processors – ARM9/11, CortexA5, DSP
o Power and Performance measurement
Desired Profile • Familiarity with test plans, post-Si validation environment, coverage concepts, automation, and test writing/debug
• Experience in using lab equipments such as Oscilloscopes, Protocol Analyzers/Generators, Logic Analyzers
• JTAG based Debuggers etc.
• Bringup of Pre-Si validation platforms like Palladium or FPGA, and Post-Si bringup of SOC on Evaluation/Test Board – is a plus
