Designation:Opening for QA Test Engineer : FAI - Hyderabad
Job Description
1. Candidate should be willing to work in shifts
The candidate should have at least 2-3 years of working experience as a QA Test Engineer, out of which the candidate should possess at least 2 years of working experience in Test Automation tools like QTP
2. The candidate should have worked with the Development team to capture and reuse Automated Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development Test Objects
3. Work with the Release Engineering Team to create and maintain an automated build verification ("smoke") test
4. Strong, proven track record of automation implementation
5. Software Test Experience with all levels and types of testing (Unit, functional, smoke, regression, system, security, etc)
6. Web application/enterprise application experience
7. Understanding of the SDLC for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
8. Proven ability to develop test cases from specification documentation and application reverse engineering
9. Software requirement traceability experience
10. Experience in some of the following toolsets : HP Quality Center, QTP etc
11. Hands on experience in scripting languages like VB scripting etc
12. Should have QA Automation working experience with QTP and XML comparison
13. Work experience using technologies like XML etc
14. Working experience with version control and configuration management tools
15. The candidate should possess good communication skills, both oral and written and good inter-personal skills
Desired Profile
The Candidate will
1. Conduct formal software testing to verify that all functional requirements have been met
2. Follow agile methodologies for development (automation) and testing of applications
3. Select and develop appropriate test automation tools (QTP), applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing
4. Will closely work with the development team to identify Automated Test Cases
5. Will develop test cases out of specification documentation
6. Will involve in testing Web applications and Desktop applications
7. Will involve in all types of testing like unit, functional, system, regression, smoke, security, integration etc
8. Will ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used
9. Will Prepare and participate in internal reviews of software test products
10. Will update test execution status following processes as part of regularly-scheduled test status updates using tools like HP Quality Center
11. The candidate should possess good communication skills, both oral and written and good inter-personal skills
12. The candidate should be willing to work in the night shifts
13. Should work as an individual contributor
