The Amazon Traffic team is tasked with managing and developing Amazon's traffic (marketing) channels with the goal of
maximizing revenue growth while minimizing marketing expense. These traffic channels - which combined represents billions of
dollars of annual revenue - include sponsored and free links on search engine pages, emails, deals and browser extensions.
The Traffic Team is starting a new QA team in India (Bangalore) for Amazon's traffic channels Deals, Email and Browser
extensions. We are looking for an SDET who will own the end-to-end test planning, test case design, and test execution for
the new innovations in these three feature areas.
Responsibilities will include maintenance of existing automated regression test cases for functionality & UI testing. Tests
will be carried out with automation with very few exceptions. You will establish and enforce effective processes with the
development team, and act as an advocate for the customer.
Previous experience in testing non-deterministic software like Search or Social media

Basic Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years overall QA/development experience.
Demonstrated experience in Web metrics and testing through metrics
Test planning, execution and reporting experience
Ability to write quality code in at least one high level language like Java, C++, C etc.
Knowledge of Java based technologies. Understanding of XML, JS, CSS, HTML, and web application development is a definite
plus.
Demonstrated skill and passion for Quality Assurance.
Ability to retain composure under stressful conditions, communicates effectively with a wide array of individuals at Amazon,
and gets the right things done.
