About the Role
The person would be working as Software QA Engineer in the Consumer Group.
Primary Responsibilities:
• SDLC & STLC understanding:
• Test planning
• Execution of assigned testing tasks.
• Identification and reporting of product defects.
• Writes clear and complete defect reports including all required information, and details required for reproduction.
Desired Profile
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
* 3-4 years of QA experience
* Very good in Black box test techniques & methodologies
* Very good analytical, testing & technical skills
* Basic programming knowledge preferably in C / C++
* Strong in Windows Concepts like file system, Imaging, Services & Process , OS installation & partitioning
* Experience in API Testing using C++, PERL, Python
* Good in Networking concepts (basics)
* Min. of 1 year experience in QTP / Test Complete
* Knowledge in automation (PERL, Python)
* Knowledge in non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability etc)
* Very Good in analysis and Troubleshooting
