Information about the Function
Competence Area Operation Support System (OSS) is part of Ericsson Global Services Center India that provides its services to
Global Customers in Information Communication Technology space. CA OSS, a Competence Area with in Ericsson India Global
Services, provides End-to-end solutions in the area of Assurance, Fulfillment and Support & Readiness. End-to-end solutions
consist of Solution Architecting, Development & Deployment, Customer Integration, Solutions Support, Life-cycle Management,
Project & Program Management and Pre-Sales Support.
OSS/NMS portfolio of CA OSS Group covers Customer Care & Portal, Service Level Management, Trouble Ticketing, Work Force
Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, Network Inventory, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Service
Inventory, Configuration Management and Vendor & Contract Management domains.
CA OSS group has its Customers spread across the globe and successfully delivering more than 200+ Consulting & System
Integration and Managed Services projects every year. Managed Services Network Operation Centers are one of the key Customers
for the group and group has been playing vital role for Managed Services NOCs and its Customers to attain and maintain
Operational excellence through right balance of Tools & IT, Process and People/Organization.
Desired Profile
Education
Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
Experience
1-3 years of Telecoms/IT experience in design and implementation of work force management Solutions.
Authorization
The authority of the Senior Solution Integrator shall be defined in an Assignment Specification, Project Specification or
other assignment documents. The authority shall, in general, be sufficient in order to make all necessary decisions
concerning the technical solution or services within the proposed and/or ordered contract framework.
Main Activities
Analyze customer Situation
Analyze customer business process and requirements
Propose solution scenarios with identified components
Design Customer Solutions
Create acceptance documents
Perform dimensioning analysis or implementation analysis
Estimate costs for customer adaptations, implementations teams and/or operations
Collect and document customer functional, features and delivery requirements, perform technical gap analysis
Prepare and write solution and/or implementation descriptions
Handle 3'rd Party Products to be used in the solution
Deliver Customer Solution
Secure the functionality and technical quality of deliverables
Prepare for solution Life Cycle Management
Handle change requests and the consequences of such for the delivered offers and/or ordered deliveries from a Solution point
of view
More Specific - Skill Requirements
Extensive design and delivery experience preferably through a leading technical role, and a deep understanding of the
underlying processes, methods and tools.
Extensive hands-on experience with Click Software or any other Work force management product
Experience in developing .NET, ASP, Java applications
Software development life-cycle (SDLC) exposure with technical leadership ability to drive team during Design, coding,
testing and Integration phases, including Java/PLSQL code review ability
Additional technical knowledge in IT architecture e.g. Network, Server, Security infrastructure, database systems and
client/server environment (Added advantage)
An ability to learn new technologies/systems and assimilate new information quickly in a fast-paced and constantly changing
environment
Qualifications
