Designation Senior Engineer - Stress, Aero-structures
Job Description
Provides analysis support to develop efficient structural load paths and ensure that all stress requirements are integrated
into final design, considering static and dynamic loads, material rigidity, fatigue and fracture using a broad range of
standard hand and computer methods and technical information provided by aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and the customer.
Provides support in the development and validation of structural design concepts of company products through static and
dynamic assessment of metallic and/or advanced composite aero-structures and nacelle hardware using established
semi-empirical and analytical approaches.
Collaborates with other engineering functions to develop efficient final structural design configurations for major
structural assemblies, and equipment.
Assists in stress notes and stress reports required by the customer. Provide analysis support to identify the need for
structural test efforts to assess the structural integrity of metallic and non-metallic aerospace products.
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Desired Profile
Basic Qualifications: BE in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 3 years of relevant stress experience.
Experience in aerospace industry, with some design and structural stress analysis experience, preferably with airframe
structures.
Able to read technical drawings/manuals.
Computer Literate - Microsoft Office.
Strong application of engineering principles and theories in structural analysis and test methods
Problem-solving skills
Function effectively in a team environment
Effective communication
