Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory scale process hazards evaluations using thermal analysis and other analytical techniques in support of the development of processes for the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients for BMS' R&D programs at our Biocon-BMS research center in Bangalore as well as the worldwide manufacturing network. The successful candidate will manage the hazard evaluation laboratory operations, manage laboratory staff and collaborate with project teams in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that will enable definition of safe operating conditions and will utilize data in conducting process safety risk assessments.
 
Desired Profile  Skill Set:

We are seeking a self-motivated, creative and independent thinking individual to become part of our team of Process R&D scientists. Postdoctoral experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical process R&D, reaction engineering and application of kinetics and thermodynamics to process safety is a plus. Strong technical writing, oral communication and supervisory skills are required.
