Job Description
Role Overview
The Service Support Analyst position provides support and integration services to our clients for resolution of software and data issues. The service delivery team will directly work with clients, development team, business analysis team and DBA team to ensure that any issues raised are resolved in satisfactory manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Recording and logging customer queries and requests
• Diagnosing problems and identifying potential solution
• Ensure timely solution of all assigned issues and provide regular updates
• Escalate issues or liaise with development/ business teams on assigned open issues, until they are resolved or closed
• Accurately record details of communication with clients along with business and development team
• Produce internal customer service related reports and documentation
• Assist in building product knowledge base to expedite issue resolution
• Ensuring SLA's are met and quality targets are reached and maintained
• Must have good understanding of the business and work effectively with all the departments (Business and development)
• Maintain mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of support processes, customer satisfaction and the application of tools for monitoring, management and optimization
Desired Profile
Skills and Experience
• Min 3 years' experience in a support team
• Excellent Knowledge of Windows /UNIX
• Hands on SQL – Oracle experience an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written Communications skills
• Knowledge of Java an advantage
• Knowledge of Financial Markets
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with ability to provide quick resolution to problems
• Good attention to detail
• Collaborative team Player
