Job Description
Provide simulation technical support to resellers and customers
Remotely troubleshoot resellers'/customers' analysis problems, installation and licensing issues, PC software performance
and stability issues using Web applications
Verify reported software issues and report them to development. Offer workarounds where possible.
Contribute the findings to the SolidWorks Simulation Knowledge Base repository

Desired Candidate Profile
Strong written and verbal communication skills. The support engineer will be supporting SolidWorks clients remotely through
phone, email, or internet correspondence
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Minimum 2-5 years of FEA experience (experience with Structural, Thermal, Kinematics, and CFD analysis). CAD experience
would be a plus
Some experience with FEA packages – Ansys, SolidWorks Simulation, Algor etc.
Ability to work independently and in team environment
Ability to coordinate and work with various departments within the organization
Strong people/client skill desired
Education:
Bachelors Degree (Master's Degree will be preferred) in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering or similar discipline
Major preference: FEA analysis, CAE experience
