Job Description
To provide presales support for ANSYS Mechanical products and technical support and training to users of ANSYS Mechanical
products based in South region. Detailed job description is provided as below:
Support to Sales and Marketing Activities
Providing technical assistance to sales team through technical presentations, product demonstrations and solving benchmark
problems (customers/sample problems) with primary focus on ANSYS mechanical products.
Providing technical assistance to marketing activities by developing examples for new applications, technical presentations
and demos at seminars, workshops.
Help Sales team develop value propositions of ANSYS solutions for various Industry segments in South region.
Technical Support
Assisting clients using ANSYS Mechanical products, through email and telephone, in all phases of analysis from correct
posing of the initial problem, solution and interpretation of results.
Work collaboratively with customers to ensure their successful use of ANSYS products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and
cultivate opportunities to expand software licenses.
Keep abreast of the latest technological developments in ANSYS Mechanical products.
Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers.
Guide in-house efforts in expanding customer accounts.
Use technical services to promote new software license sales and expansions.
Client Training
Training of new clients/prospects at their site or at ANSYS offices.

Desired Candidate Profile
Masters/Bachelors in Mechanical engineering.
Over 5 years of industrial experience in Finite element analysis.
Strong knowledge on Strength of materials, Vibrations, numerical methods, linear and non-linear finite element analysis.
Experience with ANSYS Mechanical is a definite plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks/assignments.
Excellent analytical, visualization and problem solving skills.
