Job Summary
This position is for a member of the test engineering team supporting the world's leading unified mobility service offered by iPass. The iPass Authentication and authorization system provides internal & external customers, channel partners & end users to get roaming facility in the world.
Key Responsibilities
• Understanding the requirement & its testing scope and test case creation
• The candidate should be able to adapt to new technology, execute test cases and maintain test setup.
• The candidate should be capable of writing test cases against the requirement and know all testing techniques.
• Responsible for black-box, regression, performance, security and system test of app and DB
• Have all defects tracked and add value to defect by analyzing and diagnosing the root cause of the issue.
Project Related Competencies
• Must have a solid understanding of QA processes and methodology applicable to web/server based development
• Strong understanding of web/server technology and the run-time behavior of various components.
• Good understanding of DB tools like Toad, other Oracle tools and their application
• He should have experience in testing including system, integration, regression and end to end testing.
