Ceed Exam Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for application at IITK

Candidates having a bachelor's degree in engineering/design/architecture and a valid CEED/GATE score are eligible to apply for the Master of Design programme. Students with a bachelor's degree in Fine arts and Interior Design are not eligible at present. The selected students will be called for a written test and interview to test their creativity and inclination for innovation. Please note that the CEED/GATE score is considered only for the purpose of shortlisting candidates to be called for the test and interview, it does not have any weightage in the selection of students for the M.Des. course.

Eligibility Criteria for CEED

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent in any branch Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent Interior Design Professional diploma of CEPT (5 year program) BFA (professional course in Applied Art/ Fine Art) GD Art (5 year professional program) Professional Diploma of NID Note: Either you should have completed the above said degrees or about to complete by July 2007.

General Information

Reservation: 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST and 3% for Physically Handicapped (with minimum 40% disability) in each program.

Assistantships/Scholarships are available for M.Des Programme. Sponsored Candidates are also considered for M.Des.
